FOLIETECHNIEK was founded in 1981. Initially the companies name was FTS :
Folietechniek Sliedrecht BV. The name was changed into Folietechniek when the company moved to Raamsdonksveer.
From the start, we were focused on the manufacture of Polystyrene ( HIPS ), but Folietechniek was among the pioneers within APET extrusion : in 1988 it installed its 1st PET extrusion line.
Today we have 7 extrusionlines and offer a wide range of co-extruded sheet for the thermoforming industry : APET, HIPS and PLA.
In order to achieve an optimal end product and the most competitive sheet, we advise and offer the exact blends.
More important events:
1987 : Opening 2nd factory in Zevenbergen;
1988 : Installation PET line;
1991 : Removal from Sliedrecht and Zevenbergen to Raamsdonksveer;
1999 : Acquisition by IVEX / Kama;
2000 : Start Extrusion PLA;
2002 : Ivex / Kama acquired by ALCOA;
2005 : Management buy in and - out;
2008 : Acquisition by 4PET Holding.
